Polda Metro Jaya Chief, Gen. Pol. Fadil Imran expressed the RW chairmen had a very important role. The friendly attitude between RWs can ease the community in going through the various problems they encounter. The balance in one RW has a big influence on the larger community.
"If Jakarta is likened to a human being, RW becomes part of his body. You're the nerve endings for all of us. This is because you are the ones who can feel and see firsthand what is happening, and make the residents' hopes come true," he stated.
He added that South Jakarta has the largest population in Jakarta, after East Jakarta. Several cases that must be examined together are juvenile delinquency, such as brawls, wild racing, social disorder, motor vehicle theft, and theft by weighting.
